You want my hint for uber plat? Get in a large guild and get to PoEarth, then sell EVERYTHING that you find. On my server I get
60k for a bowstaff
20k for saps
2k for fibers
5k for bricks
12k for vines
I figure that I make about 100k every 2 hours of farming there easy. Not to mention that the stuff you can make from JUST FARMING POE include:
350k bow
65k a piece int armor
120k a piece plate and chain and leather armor
just my 2cp =)

Whats wrong Sprite.... watching your ill gotten gains slip away? You know if we put in /click your rip off piece of crap program becomes worthless.
I hope Plaz sues you into poverty....

Furthermore, saying you'd love for all profitable tradeskills in game to be nerfed is a completely asinine thing to say, there are alot of players in EQ who use those tradeskills to vendor profits to balance costs, players who might not have time to sell every crafted item in bazaar
Absolutely wrong.
Tradeskills are never ever supposed to generate even a single copper of profit upon combine of storebought components. If any does, it is a bug and is incorrect. The whole point of tradeskilling is to profit from the player economy; and you are supposed to lose money while you work up your skills. If there actually was a way to skill up while GAINING money, that would completely violate the whole system.
Please do some tradeskilling yourself before posting, thx.

Whee, I have about 30 aborian strands, 10 bricks of steel, 6 saps, no vines or staves though, given them to guildies.

All your doing is regurgitating sony's typical speech about tradeskills and profits, and of course you completely missed the point.

If you weren't around when Class 6 Arrow macro was released and saw the effects that had then please do not comment. This has absolutely nothing to do with MQ Gold, /click needs to be regulated.

No because I have put a price on it. Any non-free good will automatically regulate itself depending on price.
I've decided to go open source with MQ Gold, expect /nokos code etc to be posted soon. Yall have already given Verant a huge incentive to nerf MacroQuest, why not give them more?

if they're going to nerf it, they're going to nerf it, and there's nothing we can do but un-nerf it.

I dont know why you are so upset about releasing click and 'How will SoE nerf it bad'
When Macroquest became source only, it was transformed into a small community of 'intellectual' (sp) people who can have it running.
Yep, no longer everyone and their moms can run it, therefore ,the people who CAN have it running, wont be exploiting and ruining the game for the others like the little kids did before when the binaries where released
If anyone here will have Macroquest nerfed more, then that would be you, selling it to everyone.
How would you feel if I start selling it tomorrow for 25$ and donate 90% (and the other 10% to pay the ISP fees and stuff =P) of it to the Macroquest Developers?

sprite,
1. Unless you have something useful to add fade away.
2. SO 50 bucks is enough of a price that SOE won't be bothered, Well let me tell you if they are gonna be bothered by anything it’s gonna be the fact you are making MONEY off of there product in a way.
3. I don't care what they think they are gonna do as far as prices because anything they do in that area they effect everyone not just MQ ppl.
sprite why don't you make a point that has some facts. I'll tell you what the fact is, YOU dont want it out so YOU can make some ILL gotten gains. You did not want to help the DEVS work on click or release your code but when they fix it them self’s you whine (much like Hollywood actors whining about have consequences to thier actions). Your actions here are very transparent on this fact!

Thats great! more power to you! I have been wanting to look at your source for some time now.
Im looking forward to see the nokos code as well, but be assured it will not be a feature of the cvsed MQ, at least its not something I will push for, however it will be interesting to look at, and possibly we can learn something from it, when working on other features like merchant and gem$
