I've gone through the posts and tried different variations, but I keep getting the same type of error:

DoCommand-Couldn't parse'/pet get lost'

I've tried adding a /timed command, docommand and it doesn't like anything
Am I completely dense and messed up somewhere?

everything works great in this, except it won't do the /declare statement. I have to manually type it in, to get this to work.

What does dbgview show? Add lots of /echo statements....

when I press my hotkey "," it results in :

if I manually type in "/varset mainassist global" it will stop giving me those errors.

I did save them in UTF-8, not sure if that could be a problem or not.

added echoes, not sure if I had to use multiline or not, so I did:

it only echoed the pet get lost line, not sure why. and No idea what those weird characters are that it keeps displaying.

EDIT:
Ok decided to play around a bit and this is weird. (BTW this is all thats in my config files, not sure if there is supposed to be something else in there like a header or something)

Use notepad. You have some strange characters in your *.cfg files....

I've been using notepad, those characters aren't showing up in the config file itself, it only shows up in the debugview. my MQ2chat window only shows

ok remade the files using Notepad++ instead of Notepad, and no error when i do /loadcfg. I thought YAY, but as soon as I zoned I am getting the same thing again

It's working. Remove the blank lines...

Oh, and binds are permanent, stored in the macrquest.ini file.

And, one more thing, read the wiki entry on /noparse.

Thanks Dkaa, I didnt have the blank lines in earlier and was still having this weird problem. I rebooted my pc and restarted everything and for some reason it decided to work /boggle.
