Version error

Post by vzmule » Mon May 12, 2003 3:46 pm

The current source works fine for me with some small modifications I've made to it, however I tried using it on a windows 98 machine at my brother's house (exact same version I'm using at home) and got an invalid version error. I ran the EQ patcher to make sure all the files were current for EQ and still go the same error. I had to use the client overide option to get around it.

Anyone had any similar issues with win98? I'm stumped cuz it's the exact same version I'm using on my win ME and XP machines.

Check to make sure you are using the most current eqgame.ini.

The version number that MQ checks is listed in there.

Also make sure your time zone setting is correct in windows.

Yeah Jaerin, the ini is good to go. I'm using it with no problem on all my computers at home. I think Gengis might be on to something with the time settings.
