They can sell code derived from here but to be legal they have to provide the source since it would fall under GPL as well. GPL code is free to be used by anyone but there are some rules on how you distribute it. Technicaly you could download a fresh CVS here, not change a thing and sell it compiled (with the source included). Of cource who would pay for somthing that they could download freely. Also, even if they did make some changes there is nothing stoping me from buying and and applying the changes to my source or to CVS.eqjoe wrote:I bet that product includes source stolen from this open source project, which is against the open source licence agreement.
