Hello, Question about unresolved externals

I got this errors and warnings when i compiling the cvs with VC 6 :

..\Release\eqlib.dll : fatal error LNK1120: 3 unresolved externals

eqlib.dll - 4 error(s), 3 warning(s)

as i am a newbie on C++,i have no idea what error is unresolved externals, coz i have met this error on compiling other dll source

Did you use the project files or the makefile? Looks like your missing ws2_32.lib in your object/library modules for your linker.

The detour functions are from detours.lib.

Your cvs download has apparently screwed up that library.

You can either turn off the cf/lf stuff in your cvs or get the whole detours package and build it yourself.

eqjoe:i did both method but got the same result and i did a file search that the ws2_32.lib is in my VC6 lib dir

dont_know_at_all:after i copied the newest detours lib to mq's detour dir and did a compile ,i got this :

i tried to nmake the new detours src but it said the program database file detours.pdb has an obsolete format,delete it and recompile it but i donno how to recompile the pdb file out

I tried wincvs for the hell of it the other day instead of my regular cvs client. I tried compiling the current cvs source as a test and got the same errors. I then used visualcvs and had no errors building at all, so it has something to do with a setting on wincvs.
