/echo test gives no output?

Post by eq_freak » Thu Jul 11, 2002 8:05 am

OK so i just upgraded to the newest version. Now when I do /echo test, I get no output?

I was looking in the ini file and there is a setting called FilterMacro, but changing it doesnt seem to fix the problem.

Any ideas? Really missing the /echo stuff, hard to debug complex macros without it :(

Ah well, rebooting and setting FilterMacro=0 in the ini file fixed the problem. Dunno what went wrong before :)

I had this exact same problem when I upgraded and it really freaked me out. All you need to type is: '/filter macros all'

(You might want to play around with the setting '/filter macros enhanced' , but '/filter macros all' should reset everything.

Yea, somehow in the readme/changelog it was not indicated that the default /filter setting was going to change with the new release :) (Or, at least it changed on mine! ..hehe)

Salutations,
what was happening was /filter macros enhanced, the problem being that it was overly filtering.
