"Duh... I need help. "

Your post if void of anything that might help anyone from giving you any help. Your post is useless in all ways except to take up room on this forum and to get yourself flamed.

If you want help, give us some information. Use search and assure us that you have tried to complie using the information on this board. Let us know that what problems you have run into, and be specific. Tell us what you have tried, what service packs are installed with VC5 and what other software is installed on that system such as SDKs.

a little more info as so kindly requested :-). I have tried to do the things as posted http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1940, but that is for vc6. I can't get nmake to run for the detours part. I just want to know if its possible to compile with VC5 and winME

Thanks

As far as I know you are the first one to try, though I'm not sure why it wouldn't be possible.

Tell me what you are doing with detours. Also, which version of the source code you are using. Seems several people have been having problems when trying to use my modified version (SRC-20030308-MCK). The building instructions are a little different for that source tree as opposed to the official release.

WinME shouldn't be a problem, but check your PATH to make sure it includes the VC5 binary files, so that NMAKE will build Detours correctly.
