What this means, is that people who can get VC working -- get to use MQ, but those that have contributed in other ways, such as advice, scripts, MONEY, &etc are SCREWED.

"Not part of the elite, screw you" - Is that how its going to be?

In the very least, if you wanna keep it limited, then have a password protected ftp, to give back to all the contributors, without limiting it to the coders contribs only.

I'm disguested at my fellow programers and damit, I'm not shutting up about it.

Now I'm going to load up my new MQ binary and mull about how to destroy the current trend here before it hurts this small community any more then it has.

Then you'd have to move it off of Source Forge... the whole idea of GNU, and open source is to share... I know some people didn't learn to share in 1st grade and they got their hands whacked with a ruler... ... ... anyhow, I just felt the need to say that I strongly disagree with you, not ONLY because I don't contribute to the actual source, but with out all the lowly little people, who'd be creative and make macros? Who's contribute? You'd have to buy a domain, Source Forge probably wouldn't like it if you did what you suggest, so then the 10's of contributers would get stuck with the bill... Anyhow, be grateful, Mr. one-post-wanker.

as to the contribution of money, I'd like to know if any of the CURRENT devs actually saw any of it.... I somehow doubt it. Plaz is gone, and whether he comes back or not is up to dispute. I don't know. I don't really care. This community and project can live without him, it seems...

Personally, I believe it's up to the ones that FIXED MQ whether it's released as a binary or not. Without them, there wouldn't BE a MQ.

I'm all for leaving it source-only, as that will cut down at least a little on the negative attention we've recieved from SOE.

I agree, its totally up to them. I just kinda hope they sway to the way of releasing it back to the masses, or at least just me.

I dont mind having to compile it at all... it will be a good learning experience for me. but i just hope no one minds if i ask stupid newbie questions as the only coding i have done was ASP or DHTML ... but typically in MRIC they are not friendly, but tolerant, and usually someone steps up to help me out.
