Read the Fucking Manual

There, is that productive the fuck enough? If you had read the manual, which is linked on the front page of the wiki for MQ2, you might have learned what you needed to know. The manual has most of the answers to the basic things anyone wanting to use MQ2 needs to know. This includes how to compile MQ2, which you must do; it does not work out of the box. It also tells you where to put all macros, etc.

Copy the whole section within the

Code: Select all

section and save it as what it tells you to in this case Killandloot.mac then find the next section of

Code: Select all

copy and save that as the file called move.inc and then do that for any other include files that are posted. You want to save all of these into the Release/Macro folder. If that isnt enough help go stick your dick into a light socket.

wow guys...just wow.
its great to see how a community comes together like this. its great to see how new people are treated. i don't have C++, i have never compiled any kind of script, i have never taken computer programming classes nor do i have natural ability in this area. for all of you that said straight of that i need to 'read the fucking manual' well i did. it didn't fucking help. obviously or i wouldn't be here. if you label something as a help forum, you shouldn't bash there. especially not senior members.
I'll go read the manual again.
but if i have any more questions they will go to personal friends that have written scripts for this site.

im really glad to see how a simple question in the HELP forum turned into THIS shit.

I didn't have C++, or any computer programming past Basic back when a Radio Shack TRS-80 was hot shit, when I started here.

I managed to read the fucking manual, I managed to get ahold of the tools required to compile. Hell, I even rewrote the instructions in a help thread on how to compile because the existing one was not detailed enough for me, and if I have problems with it I know others will have a worse time.

So take your sad ass stories elsewhere and fuck off.

This is not a community for thin skinned babies. If you want to have your hand held, you came to the wrong fucking place. Piss off.

In fact, if he read the agreement on the forums link page from the mq2 site, he would see that this is what he gets for being a no-reading son of a bitch.

I made the mistake of taking the warning lightly and got smart after the first time someone talked shit to me.

He had like 1000+ posts and obviously knew what he was doing - and I figured I'd rather have him on my side than BUCK him in the face like your dumb ass is doing. Stop being an idiot, and fucking do what you're told to do. you will learn alot faster that way - lazy dick.

Post count is not necessarily an indication of how good someone is. I'm a prolific poster, anywhere I'm involved. A lot of my posts are questions, often times questions that I start to answer myself on. Looks odd to some people, but they can see what I started with and how I progressed through things to get things working.

However, as has been stated here, in a generic way, all MQ2 questions that a noob might have have been asked repeatedly and answered. Search, it does a body good.

Following the steps you linked to, replace step 5 with this code:

When you follow step 9, if you receive the output "Hello, world" in your console window then your install appears to be working and you are well on your way to using macroquest.

wouldn't common sense just tell you to put the file where the application is looking for it?
