has anyone ever noticed that many zones have a lvl 99 mob that is invisable. also in the troll starting city I think grobb but i forget there is a spawn called GMBetaspawn that is an invisable spawn.

when i do that, the client freezes for a second, then spits out a ton of lines of npcs... i stopped doing that awhile a go...

This is second hand, but I heard that someone got banned for targeting and attacking the "Mystic Voice" at the nexus spires, I guess the only way to target is to have a 3rd party program (eqmacro) that shows you the NPC in the first place.

The story goes: a few Noobs were at the North Karana spires waiting to go to the moon, a high level player came, and started attacking the "A Mystic Voice" that announces when the spires are about to go off, one of the Noobs attempted the same, and could not target, he asked a GM why he was not able to, and next thing you know the high level player poofed. A few hours later the same high level player under a diffrent name sent the Noob a /tell explaining the whole thing.

I havent tried it, but just a word of caution as to what and when you target things

Nope, sure doesn't. And you used to be able to target them by /assisting a pet. Was great fun to charm them, or otherwise aggro them, and have them start a slaughter.

Some of the creatures that i have seen are lvl 99 i think charming them would be the only way to kill the sleeper hey now thats a thought who is up for a raid ???

I was stood at the Antinica spires in the nexus foraging and droping it on the floor when all of a sudden the trade window opened. The mob way called Antonica spire or something similar. Well I cancelled the trade but the mob was still targeted. Tried casting on it and attacking with no effect. If a GM saw be and I got banned for that then I would be most upset since I hadnt done anything wrong.

BTW if you walk over the very centre of the spires you will go over a little bump. Thats where the invisble mob is.

Ya, its well known to the GM's that the Scion is bugged. I once tried to trade in that area and with the scion TPed he took the other guy to the moon (even though he had no crystal) and I was TPed to the safe spot (because I dont have SOL) and the items we were trading poofed. I petioned to the GM and he didnt question the incident he just "got my item back" and gave it too me.

Also I never realised that 3? mobs make up the scion, The "Scion Voice", The "Scion" and I cant remember the 3rd invisible mob.

theres a level 99 invisble man warrior in erudin palace too

i'm guessing its gotta do with planes of power - since from newbie cities you can travel to newbie cities apparently...
