damn im a noob

Hello, I am running the following:
P4 2.66 Ghz, WinXP Home
Geforce 4 64 MB MX
512 MB DDR RAM at 333mhz

My problem is this, I updated my offsets and know they are the latest ones, my EQW is the latest version, I've tried running it in fullscreen with the same problem. I'm using the NewUI because I don't know how to turn it off. Everytime I run MQ with EQ I get to the server select and I click "Enter World" as soon as I click that it says "eqgame.exe has crashed bla bla bla" my desktop is at 16 bit... any suggestions?

If you go to here http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1835 and look for the last post I believe it is the most accurrate offsets for MQ are there. and make sure of course that you copy it to the eqclient.ini file in your MQ directory

Oops my bad. I meant to type eqgame.ini

Have you tried running this without using EQW?

also check back to that link I posted and cut and paste the code again as it has been updated since last night

Do you crash when you're not running MQ? If so, the problem is with EverQuest....

Hmm Try uninstalling MQ and re-installing sometimes that helps not sure if you had said you had done this yet.

With WinXp, or Win2k, you shouldn't really have to "install" anything, as they already have the java files you need. But i guess you could try downloading a new copy of the program I guess. Another thing you may want to try, is try running it without EQW, as younglove suggested, just to see the results.

Oh, and make sure you use the offsets from asshat in that thread, not the ones from EQmule, I don't know where he came up with that MyWin stuff, but sure doesn't play well with my system.

Hmm, guess it would be the name of his MQ file, as he doesn't want SOE to catch him with a memory read, right?

Now I'm just rambling.

Tried the non-perl dll as well?

If you didn't install Activestate Perl(which isn't used by but 1 macro on here, i believe) you need to use the non-perl dll.

btw, are you using the english eq client? I recall hearing somewhere people asking for different offsets for other language versions...such as german.
