If those setting mean what they say, then that change would really only break any programs using FindWindow(Char*,Char*); to find the macroquest window
Which none do so.. Or we would hope none do. Cause they wouldnot be good most likely

Check the other 2-7-03 thread for my listing of offsets. It's identical to the one EQMule posted except for one line:
EQMule's offset:
My offset:
I really don't feel like going back and figuring out which one is correct (I'm kinda biased, though, so I'd tend to think mine would be), but I didn't have any crashing problems whatsoever tonight while using my offsets.

OK I used the offsets "EqMule00" posted in “2-7 offsets please anyone?” just moments after they were posted. I tried a "/who" command witch crashed EQ.
Then I tried the ones “EqMule00” posted here “07 Feb 2003 offsets are here.” and changed only the “__MyTray” and “MyWin” TO “__MacroQuestTray” and “=MacroQuest”
As those are the ones that worked for me before and I have not seen any reason to change them
Now it works, although “asshat” said there is one other difference
“clsItems=008343C8 “
That is the one in the post above, so it is the one that works for me.

I think asshat is correct about the clsitems I have changed that now. Cant confirm it though as that offset was not contributed by me, so maybe if I get time ill doublecheck it, but just looking at it quickly it looks more likely to be the right one since the previous was closer to that address than the address used in my first post...
sorry for any inconviniance, and thanks asshat for taking the time to help us all get the offsets we need...

I have a question..... "clsItems=" what is it control of? i mean how would i test to see if it works for me?
I mean it is not exactly self explainitory like some the others... "Attack=" or "Spells" witch are VERY easy to see what the do.....

As the co-author of the the offsets posted in this topic Id like to point out that changing the MacroQuestWinClassName=__MacroQuestTray
MacroQuestWinName=MacroQuest doesnt do you any bit good... as a matter of fact it might do you more harm using the "default" values... let me explain why I changed them ->
It just doesnt matter what thoose are set to... and I changed them out of one reason only: Im paranoid. What changing them means in practice is that IF SOE should decide to scan your tasklist or windows or Classes for MacroQuest it would not find it... I suggest all MQ users to come up with their own names for theese values as the program functions very well even if you change them...
someone correct me if Im wrong, but still the point is the changes works in my house...

Salutations,
but having it set to macroquest isn't a problem if you don't afk macro as I'm sure you don't.
