Oh, jeez uhh, sorry Yunto, I didn't mean to give you a reason to hate... I'll go ahead and post it as a separate topic. Again, I'm really... VERY sorry. *rolls eyes*

Spare me, ppl who respond like you are a dime a dozen, it's expected. Anyway, didn't know anything about MQ2 to begin with when I heard about it and a friend of mine who has it told me to check out mmobugs if I was interested. Then after getting the program and looking through their site there, found a link to macroquest2.com, where I read that it's supposed to be compiled, HENCE THE CONFUSION. So I guess, Yunto, that I'm a moron in the same sense that you were a complete fucking idiot before you ever knew how to program, as far as other programmers here would most likely be concerned. I mean shit man, HOW COULD YOU EVER HAVE NOT KNOWN WHAT YOU KNOW NOW?! Inconcievable!!

Thanks dont for filling me in, didn't know that about them either, probably a good idea for me to get a proper version. At least the devs have some measure of maturity in their replies, even if I did screw up.

Yunto?

Wow.

Google is your friend.
Then after getting the program and looking through their site there, found a link to macroquest2.com, where I read that it's supposed to be compiled, HENCE THE CONFUSION.
I cant get mmobugs' site to work since im at work, but dont they say that its a pre-compile? Meaning.. they compiled it for you?
So I guess, Yunto, that I'm a moron in the same sense that you were a complete fucking idiot before you ever knew how to program, as far as other programmers here would most likely be concerned. I mean shit man, HOW COULD YOU EVER HAVE NOT KNOWN WHAT YOU KNOW NOW?! Inconcievable!!
Unlike you, I do the work to educate myself about topics before I dive headfirst into them. Yes, I've asked stupid questions before, but only after attempting to find the answer out myself.
At least the devs have some measure of maturity in their replies, even if I did screw up.
I called you on a retarded action (posting where it didnt belong), which I likely wouldnt have done if not for the retardedness of paying for something thats 100% free.

Since we are already so far into this that my contribution to the problem is small.... and the largest contributors to the problem seem to read every post (thus I will reach my target audience).... I'll post my semi-rant.

It is very difficult to find answers on this board using the search feature. The reason is the signal-to-noise ratio. Invariably when I look for knowledge about a subject I find hundreds of posts to read through. Approximately 90 percent of those posts are flames and other useless nonsense. I can appreciate a little humor mixed in with the information, but on this board it has gone way overboard.

Instead of seeing every silly post as an invitation to flame, why not just ignore it, rather than piling on, burying the good information on this board under dozens more totally unhelpful posts that must be traversed in searches for that information?

Remember that every word in your waste of time post gets indexed (well, technically only every non-noise-word gets indexed, but the point is the same). And that useless post will only obscure the view of the worthwhile posts with useful information in them.

I do appreciate the help that I get on this board from some of the very same people that will take offense at my suggestion. So, I say Thank You the assistance, but please know that you are making it harder too.

--Sincerely,

--jimbo

Don't like search....here's a radical idea.....RTFM or use wiki. Or you could just rant about how hard the internet really is.

Man, wtf.

For fear that DKAA is gonna kick my ass....

Some of you guys are just stupid. You can't read and you are clearly too fucking stupid to use MQ2.

If you use a pre-compiled version of MQ2, admiting that here is just about the most stupid thing I can think of. Asking for help with your pre-compiled password stealing version of MQ2 on these forums earns you the "DUH" of the month award.

This shit works......

If you are having a problem with the chat window, you are fucking up. Check to see if the window is off the screen. Change your resolution, reset the INI file. I dare you to do a search on this. This has been beat into the ground dozens of times, yet we still get the same questions over and over.

Some things never change.

Any moment, I expect Moron_Spawn_10+3e to ask about hacking /random.
