${Merchant.Item[1].BuyPrice} is returning NULL

This won't work anymore. The price is no longer in the put into the CONTENTS struct when the merchant is open...

Item.Cost * 0.93 roughly, depending on your faction.

Or parse the text from the merchant when you click on the item.

Looking at asking prices in the bazaar, so your formula doesn't help

I'll try the click/parse idea, but would love other suggestions if anyone has any.

This works, but it requires me to do a bazaar search each time a merchant window opens, and then search the results to match up with what items I want to buy. It worked so simpley with ${Merchant.Item[1].BuyPrice} ... I think I just need to bite the bullet and find a new way to make my macro work

lol guess I need to check bug forum before I assume old macros will work. Good thing I was watching it and noticed it bought a bunch of stuff it shouldn't. At least I only lost a few kpp.

Curious, you could do something like this...

${Window[MerchantWnd].Child[itemList].List[*ItemNumberhere*,4]}

Gives you pp, change 4 to...
5=gold
6=silver
7=copper

So the old BuyPrice could just be {pp*1000+gp*100+silver*10+copper}, if your so inclined, or you could use bazaar plugin as dkaa said. I use the merchant value as kind of a backup to the bazaar plugin, since prices could be diff from time I record them, get there and actually buy it. I guess I'm anal. I want to know for sure that I'm buying it for what I presumed I was going to buy it for.

Also keep in mind that the *ItemNumberhere* is the item as according to the UI, not according to the Merchant TLO. To figure out where in the UI your Merchant TLO item is you can use something like...

This command will tell you the position that your ${Merchant.Item[*blah*]} is in in the UI.

Also this doesn't involve clicking the item either, until you want to buy it that is.

Like i said, call me anal, but I used BuyPrice as a double check. Now I'm just using the Window TLO for it.
