Hello. Spent all weekend learning how to use MacroQuest. I eventually want to have a macro setup on 3 other machines, as even before Macroquest I was 4-boxing a group. I decided to start with the cleric. I looked over casterbot.mac and cleric.mac (written by Dirtface). I prefer the error checking and logging of casterbot, and the auto heal and ease of commands from cleric. I will be changing cleric to include functions from casterbot.
Now my request. There was one function I wrote I could not get working. I am hoping one of you great coders can wipe it up.
I would like a macro, where I send a command to the cleric, and it will buff/heal a different target. For example, I send the command /tell cleric ACT. The cleric will then buff each tank in the group with the AC buff. Cleric.mac has a logic statement for autohealing to determine if a group member is a tank or caster. I would like to see something similar for general group buffing. The issue i want to solve is if I am controlling a monk pet and a cleric pet, i want to command the cleric to buff the monk. If I add a warrior pet I want a command that will buff all tank pets in the group.
I hope this makes sense, and I appreciate any attention given to this request. :-)
