Macroquest for dummies??

Post by Braedo » Mon Jan 13, 2003 1:27 am

i would just like to get some feedback from some veterans as well as newbs...would it be a complete bad idea and waste of time to write out a macroquest for dummies guide? i know there are a lot of people struggling out there with this  , and i could write something up that would help even the biggest pudding-heads, but i am worried that this might help lead to the downfall of MQ in the end, and am therefore hesitant. plz reply with what u think!!

because that meant you thought about profitting (albeit indirectly) off macroquest.

I believe that the people that can't seem to figure out how to macro should stay that way, as many of the devs have said if stupid people figured out how to use this program it would be hell... there will be a lot of AFK macroing, bannings, and all that good stuff.

I agree with YKW-28983 that if they can't figure it out, the MacroQuest community is better off without them. The relatively small barrier to entry helps keep out some of the people who wouldn't use it responsibly.

 Well, I'm a pudding head and I would love to have a RL for Dummies but I would be happy to settle for MQ for D. My problem is that I wasn't born with a knowledge of programming and, unfortunately it seems, all my journeys seem to start with a tottering step...
Replace the word God with the word Nature - and perhaps we'll get somewhere.
