Rangerautopull mac error? /quesion

Post by aurorakid » Sun Nov 27, 2005 8:12 pm

Hi All,

This stuff is really new to me so I need to ask for help in finding out how to fix this. When I use /mac rangerautopull, the macro stops with the following red text:

Failed to parse /if condition '(699>0)', non-numeric encountered

The macro moves me around for a second, locates a target then stops and provides the text above.

Thanks in Advance!

Keri

What exactly am I looking for? Is the code in the macro wrong, or did I not copy it completly?

Your problem is here

Code: Select all

(699>0)

So do I just remove it from the macro and try it again or does it need to be changed with some other values? I have zero programming experience, so I'm shooting blind here...if you couldn't tell ;)

Will this affect any other part of the marco if it is altered or deleted?

Thnx,

Keri

I'll leave it up to you to puzzle out what < stands for.

My apologies. I did check, but am still unclear as to the format. In the code, are spaces relevant? When I find the &gt and &lt are there any space before or after the < or > symbols or does the line run all together?

Where in the thread does it acknowledge spacing? It just shows the syntax that I should use. Is asking for a clarification wrong too? I did error in not searching the first time, but to throw a temper tantrum because I'm not familiar with coding is called for?

Any help is always appreciated, though.

if this doesnt make sense then just leave.

SEARCH THE MACRO FOR < and REPLACE it with <

and

SEARCH THE MACRO FOR > and REPLACE it with >

Where does it acknowledge spacing? it doesnt because you dont need to add any spacing just SEARCH / REPLACE, the syntax is PART of the spacing. Truethfully I look at your register date and the day you posted then go ohh a lazy fuck who doesnt want to read. you can scream all you want about not understanding but its because your TO FUCKING LAZY to read. Anyone can grasp the basic consept of MQ2 Macro function when they read and learn.

"the syntax is PART of the spacing". Thanks for the info here...that's all I needed. Your maturity and attentiveness is much appreciated :)

It's not like you have room to talk chief. If you'd have looked at any other macro posted on these boards in the last 6 months you could have done a Ctrl+F for > or < and found your answer, but you felt it necessary to ask aloud what you could have found in less that 5 minutes had you looked. Instead you decided to get into a pissing match and wasted at least an hour to get the answer you could have found in 5 minutes.

Don't try to get into a debate about maturity and attentiveness when it's pretty obvious you are guilty of those very faults, if you were to take a minute to reflect on things. Instead of opening the manual to read, you're asking daddy to give you the answers so you don't have to get off your ass and do it yourself. What makes you the ruling authority on maturity and attention spans again?
