Just a quicky follow-up, in case anyone cares. Installed XP, and the telnet server runs like a charm. You might want to add the fact that the telnet server won't run under the Win9xs to the list of dodgy bits in the README.

Some further data: netstat shows the telnet server listening on the appropriate port, and when I connect with telnet, it also shows an established connection between the telnet client and the MQ server.
