where did I claim MQ as my own? If you read my ad it clearly states there is a regular MQ and I don't even list MQ functions, I just list addtional MQ Gold functions. If I hadn't released MQ Gold click would have been held back a lot longer, so in reality I have done MQ community a favor. Look, Mac...

A macro that keeps you a certain distance away from a mob

I'm working on a macro that runs you in a circle, always staying between x and y feet away from the targetted mob. However, I've run into a problem. My idea is to have the macro /face the character at an angle to the mob so that his speed in the mob's direction is exactly equal to the mob's, which s...

Ever since a few months before PoP, there's been an additional exp bonus from a kill if the mob's level is close to yours. I'm not sure what the cut-off is, 5 levels below you or less I think, and the bonus increases with the relative level. So any complete function or macro to determine the exact e...

Re: Request small bug fixes here

I would like to take a look at any small/annoying bugs that have been plaguing here. Problems with macros giving strange results, or macros that have worked in the past and do not work now (excluding /click issues), etc... Feel free to post. Be sure to check back often in case I have a question reg...

You're going to get slammed, and rightly so. MQ is an opensource project, it relies on open participation and sharing of information. And someone here getting you a job in Denver is pretty unlikely regardless of what you're offering(or maybe you're just being faceitious). You don't HAVE to share you...

Getting click working in the 'new' oldui

Since there does not, at the present moment, seem to be a lot of movement on getting click to work in the newui, and since click was working fully in oldui until it was broken a few weeks ago, what sort of work needs to be done to fix click in the oldui? The click structure, is, as I understand it, ...

When picking up a stackable item, I crash to server screen. I can find no way around this. That, along with click not seemingly accepting parameters, makes running the oldui fairly useless at this point in time. None the less, if you still feel the need to run it, it's available.

It was posted in the thread for the latest offsets. Just look there. While I can get oldui to work, and /click to function, /click only works with plain old /click left or /click right, if I try /click left auto, /click left destroy, etc, I get the click syntax error. That means I can't use finditem...

Is there anything we poor plebes can do to help out? I know basically zero about packet structure and decoding, but is there anything us poor saps with a VC++ compiler, a hex editor, a calculator, and some time can do to help out?

Re: Could just play

So, I've discovered that the most fun in EQ is the lower lvls After levelling at least two dozen characters to level 30 since release, I've found that the most fun in EQ is the higher lvls. I hate having to slog through the same boring routine with another new alt, a macro like this helps me get to...

I'm running WinXP along with the latest version of Macroquest and latest offsets. I try the oldui trick detailed in the thread, and I can get EQ to run in the old ui, windowed too, without using EQW. However, click doesn't work. I get the same click syntax message whenever I try to use it, just like...

Re: Anyone that still wants the old UI...

You can still run EQ in the NewUI under Windows XP: ntsd -G -c "eb 0055b48e 0;g" c:\path\to\eqgame.exe patchme Call it an MQ workaround til this weekend... Will using this method still allow you to run EQ in windowed mode, either through EQW or through the new windowed EQ? I'd check mysel...
