This has to do with OOW zone using ALOT of memory.. Are you crashing only when using MQ2? Or are you crashing anyway? I crashed all the time until I told Windows XP to use the swapfile again.. I had it turned of since I tought 1Gig Ram would be enought.. but nope.. Turn on the virtual memory i windo...

OOW is much much more memory intensive than rest of the zones..
My comp crashed all the time in OOW cause I've had set my comp not to use any swapfile in windows.. I have 1gig RAM so I thought that would be cool but after I enabled the Swapfile usage in windows OOW has worked flawlessy..

I get the same.. It comiles MQ2 without errors..but i get 500 warnings..
And upon running MQ2 it doesnt hook in to EQ, game starts as normal..
Is it VC6 related stuff or?
Guess I'll have to burn and install VS.net.. :P

Well its kinda hard to play.. its very beta..
You cannot attack stuff or do anything but talk to people in game.
You pick up gems and solve 2 quests..
Not worth playing it atm.. :P
