The temporary solution to this, at least in my case, was to make sure I do a /mapfilter pc hide and show before I open the map in a new zone. I tried to find the source of this issue, but was interrupted when recently I moved everything to a new computer and didn't install .NET on it yet, so couldn'...

If you look through the code you will see something like the function which writes to the HUD calls EQ's internal function, the same one which writes the network meter in the upper left corner presumably. That's a fixed font, unless you recreate by disassembling the original SOE-written DLL, this wo...

Now is it just the window missing with MQ running otherwise or MQ is not running at all? Somebody I help out with MQing had this not 2 weeks ago, and turned out his macroquest.ini had off-screen coordinates for the command window. Made him try it with a fresh .ini from the latest zip and voila, thin...

Heh, we just had a thread like this abotu exact same error somewhere here. You are using a non-english version of .NET VS right? http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9432 You could ask him if he figured out a way to solve this without editing. Maybe there is some translation problem in ...

Well there is a line with pDefault and a string tokenizer, but it's not looking for ? in any recent MQ release. If you saying you downloaded 2 versions and they both appear the same, that's just weird. I looked as far back as May for releases and didn't find anything like that.

I noticed the readme.chm shrunk by like 60k in size, couldn't find any difference inside throughout the text, could be that the searchable index is missing?

This is really not the place to start the old "which class is better" argument, but whoever said necros are better off feeding mana, well I just want you to look into this subject more. I constantly do 400 and above DPS on raids on bossmobs, trash plows I just nuke once or twice, so is a w...

Not sure if this would work, but as a first idea you could try iterating through the raid members and check if they are officers, then add them as looters. the member TLO has a GuildStatus member, if it' contains the right data, you are good to go.

I always cry when I see people who claim they can use a computer but they don't take the 5 minutes to understand files and folders and how a tree structure works. Or don't know what copy&paste is, or how it works. But they can install kazaa and hotbar , thus download a dozen spyware if you leave...

What server was that? Because after I rewrote a few things (Ancient lich, Force Shield recast, keeping words I like to sell, removing melee part, etc) my wand2.mac camped the 5 spawns there without any problems, 8 cloak so far, but that's a different story. I didn't see any elder horror anywhere nea...

Well from what I remember there weren't many changes between 08/19 and 08/20 in terms of offsets, except the long missing AA stuff. EQgame.exe changed in the patch of the 08/13, then 08/14 or something like that, both required offset updates. Try the one before, 07/27 iirc. Damn, sucks to be old and...

Do tell where did you get the mq2.exe source, so Lax can change the auth method if it's true. Btw if you add a plugin there is no reason to recompile the whole solution, just add the new plugin source to the tree, then compile that one project alone in Release and copy one single DLL over where you ...

recreate the mq2.exe and other files. Like what other files? Btw, MQ2.exe won't be compiled since you don't have source for that, so don't delete it by hand, make clean won't remove it either. Only things should be appearing after compile is 13+ DLL files and for every DLL there is a EXP, LIB, MAP ...
