Not exacty because Target.Target could be moving as well.

It's better just to check if Target is facing away from Target.Target.

I really don't care about the crazy bard guys. It's over. I'd like to know if anyone has any information about reading static texts.

In that thread, the LDON window example works because the window piece being tested is a button. Window pieces that are statictext seems to only return NULL for me.

Mr Crazy Bard: If you are explicitely adressing me in your message and then claiming that I'm not the recipient of your message, I have to question who is the stupid one. Judging from your post count, I must infer that you spend a LOT of time on these boards. You are probably young. Everquest is pro...

Before posting this topic I searched for a lot of relevant words: window text, window pieces, window child. The only relevant topics that came up had to do with the Confirmation Dialogue box. Unfortunatley they did not provide any answers to my problem. The problem is isolated to Static Text only, t...

Combination of these 3 things should do it: 1. Figure out what the fleeing animation IDs is for the mobs that you fight (different expansions might have different IDs) 2. ${Target.PctHPs} < 20 3. Mob is facing away from Mob's Target (this will require that you have Health of Target's Target ability,...

Reading "StaticText" window pieces

It seems that ${Window[Bla].Child[Blabla].Text} will only read "Button" and "Label" pieces. Anything that is a "StaticText" item returns NULL. It just completely skips over them. You will probably ask why I need to read something that is static... even though they say i...

Spontaneous Reboot

Not really MQ2 problem, but since you are a smart bunch, I thought you might know.... One of my computers likes to spontaneously reboot while playing EQ. I don't even have to be zoning for this to happen. What is the likely cause? Memory? Hard drive? on-board video? The motherboard is nforce2 with o...

Spawn.NearestSpawn.Distance returns wrong distance

${Spawn[whatever].NearestSpawn[1 npc].Distance} returns the distance to you, not the distance from the original Spawn. Workaround is to save the location of both spawns and calculate the distance between two points yourself.
