This is exactly one of the reasons for why I'm getting so confused... Is there a reason that Target.Distance does not have brackets? If it does not need brackets why does Me.Casting.ID? /newif ${Target.ID} && {Me.Casting.ID} && Target.Distance>=@MaxDistance /keypress FORWARD HOLD/cod...

Thanks for the help s16z, honestly, I was attempting all kinds of things to get this shit system to work properly. When I /echo something in testing and the values are all different it's a little confusing. I assumed I should compare it to the numeric/string Value, 0, 1, NULL, TRUE, or FALSE that it...

Old stick to MQ2DATA

I love MQ2. It is one of the best tools I have ever seen for a game since UOE for Ultima Online worked. The devs really have put in some serious time coding it and their hard work is definately appreciated. Lately though, I have lost a lot of hope in it. With the complete and utter lack of explanati...

I thought I was the only person on the planet that said, "Jesus Fuck!"

My buddies in school way back when(almost 15 yrs ago since high school) always got a kick out of my colorful combinations I could spew fourth at random. I swear that Lax must have been a classmate...

I think your "failed to target" message is related to watchtarget. It's looking for a target to watch, but the array is not defined or not defined properly. Check in the INI that watchtarget is turned off. There is a command to reset the target in bothealer(resetwatch I think?), but I've f...

I couldn't find the purpose in the look -90's either and took them out...and did a little modifying of the base version to suit me. Nothing major, no gm check or PC worries, but added an event for death, out of range and getting a tell. I usually sit and run it while watching a movie at my PC, so a ...

Good idea to come here to ask for a request, but what part of http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5510 did you NOT understand?

It is stickied at the top of the forum; and, of course, you read the board rules, correct?

Isn't it the case that /IF and /NEWIF only work on a TRUE or FALSE(As opposed to (0 or 1) or a (Value or NULL)? If so, that means that your NULL value(for no GM's) is making the arguement always true(because it is never "FALSE") and thus triggering the /endmacro. Try: sub gmcheck /newif ${...

/KEYPRESS ? eg., /Keypress FORWARD HOLD to hold the key down, or /Keypress FORWARD to release. Forward is an EQ bind...you can set it to whatever... Sendkey on the otherhand... works just fine as: /sendkey down num_8 So, I don't really understand your problem or your not doing something correctly.

Well, it's a bit more than you want, but this is what I have been working on for a while... This sub will find the nearest target and check that it is not within aggro range of any other target. Declares, defines and such from the main routine are not provided but you can see the logic in it and I k...

Actually, reverse engineering computer software is is one of those quasi-legal areas. Unless something changed since I last did a paper on it, reverse enginnering computer software has been one of the ways that a competitor could adopt technologies that are compatible with the existing software. A g...

MQ2data prolly has nothing to do with it to be honest. I have 2 builds of the latest CVS. One with mq2data and the other with mq2param activated. Genbot of course won't run at all with just mq2data. I keep them separate atm so that when I am working on rebuilding my own macros I don't get confused a...

Running 3 EQW sessions on one PC and suffering from cronic stubborness syndrome on my 2 bots...
