I tried compiling it first as a solution, but after getting the error i compiled it a second time using the remote desktop method, this time in MQ2Main, and it gave the same error.

First off, i did RTFM, by the way. I did everything that was said to compile it, including running MQ2auth.exe and including MQ2auth0.h in the workspace. On a side note, yes, i did run MQ2auth.exe on my computer and send it via email, so the auth files themselves most likely aren't the problem.
