To the person worried about the 'eq as a server' thing from zonealarm: When you run macroquest, it injects a DLL into EQ's process space, starting a thread for that DLL to execute it's stuff. As far as the computer is concerned, when macroquest attempts to start up it's irc server, and when macroque...

Unfortunately amm doesn't seem to hang out on IRC any longer. He's been MIA now for about a month. While talking to him though shortly before his disapearance, he seemed to indicate that he will no longer be progressing development on the perl release. From what I got out of it, there are some memor...

workaround

Maybe if I get bored sometime I'll try to find the offset for this for you ... i've been intending to find it for stuff I've wanted to do anyway. In the meantime you could set it up to check the distance to make sure nothing goes awry. For example, let's say the range on the spell you intend to cast...

spellstuff.mac - Thing for memming spells

ussage: #include spellstuff.mac and place the stuff below in spellstuff.mac (or whatever you wanna call it)... then somewhere in your own code ... /call Loadspell # "spellname #" # "spellname #" # "spellname #" # "spellname #" # "spellname #" example...

Happy with it as it is. As soon as i have more time, i can learn the perl stuff necessary from the existing .pl's and references on the 'net.

I just want more features. Debug features to be specific.

That isn't the only way to invoke it, but it is the easiest. /macro twist "Chorus of Replenishment" "Amplification" "Chorus of Clarity" "Melody of Preservation" Note that i cut out nivs because i don't remember if it has an ` or not in the name... but regardle...

Oh, it already hands 4 stacks of 4 to the npc. That was one of the more annoying things to figure out. Since /click doesn't work in new ui, had to use old ui ... and hslider doesn't seem to work, so I was having to set the current mouse position to a certain spot, then click in locations that were o...

That twist macro i wrote is more for going afk, or for just handling a simple twist while exping or whatnot. I haven't done much in the way of rigorous testing (ie., raid conditions), and especially dying or zoning. I always turn off a macro before I zone.

9x users having trouble with perl release

If your using the new version of MQ with perl installed under 9x and having issues, at least for the time being you can download this package to fix the problem, until a better solution is found:

um ... well uh ... the useage section really tells you how to use it. It's not restricted for use with red wine, in fact if you don't supply an argument it won't work. Just uh ... stand next to the npc you wanna do the trade(s) with, and follow the instructions. |-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=...

Oh, and um ... make sure you have the inventory window open, and open your tailoring kit yourself.

I didn't write this to be used with a loom, sorry. Maybe in v2 or something ;p
