Re: Changing variables via chat

It is to change delay and tanks for CHEAL chain. The idea is to have the command disguised as an open chat message, such as "Tank Swamp now! to %T", where Tank Swamp now! is the custom event. The same would be done for any changes in delay.

Re: Changing variables via chat

Thank you. I was hoping for a system that would allows others who dont have access to my EQBC (ie via a chat channel).

This, however, is a good solution and will give it a shot!

Changing variables via chat

I have a simple macro that works well, is very robust with zero flexibility.

I want to alter two variables on the fly, via channel messages. The first is a variable named delay.

#Event newtime "#*#Change to [newvalue??]?
/varset delay [newvalue??]

Re: Crashing When MultiBoxing same Comp

One machine works fine, the other machine crashes (whether I am using IS Boxer or not).

Not sure why, will reboot and try again

Re: First post, a blunt statement.

I am just as stupid, never fear! I did not think the current incarnation of MQ is supported on p1999 servers (or other types like that) as the offsets are based on current Live patches.

Re: Magepet assist

$15 seemed fair donation.

hah, I am not the mage guy. The Zerg reference comes from when a few of my friends all decided to have the surname 'Zerg' in protest against a few of our guild's raid strats.

D_k_i_A, that is a fairly good explanation. i can deal with that.

Re: Magepet assist

I agree. Heck, I donated before even downloading all the required apps etc... The way i view this model is you have a limited (only by the user) service, with full options available with minor donation. Call it what you like, but it is in effect a two tiered pricing structure (free and donation). My...

Re: Magepet assist

No, I am implying a larger community would reward the devs etc with more donations and incentives for the project. I understand there are costs to hosting sites and the like (though this may be subsidised by IS etc?). From the outside the community can come across as abrassive. I am sure it has some...

Re: Magepet assist

I do understand the complexity of the logic behind such scripting. I am commited to donating after my wife checks her cafe world (facebook, /sigh). The reference material I have sourced, so far, is extensive and thorough; which although is beneficial to one who is either current or progressive, alas...

Re: Magepet assist

Considering donating, as it appears thats how to get the most support. But, responses like this are very deterring. MacroQuest appears very overwhelming from the outside. I do enjoy logic problems and have some basic programmin skills (go go Z80!~). I am a visual learner and there seems to be very l...
