thanks for the responses guys, just got settled after moving the day after I posted that. I'm at the point where I'm convinced the error is in mq2moveutils or mq2melee as opposed to modbot even. Might be why the titanium client didn't do this for me, something that was added is this "tweak"...

Lots of interesting things stand out by taking this route. I posted the initial question at work on my cell so couldn't troubleshoot but working on it now.
