I tried explaining the coordinate system of EQ once before ... don't think it stuck but I'll try again.

EQ locations are based on a cartographical notation lat, long, alt which on a geometric x/y/z plane would equate to Y, X, Z.

If you want to know what your soulmarks say, find a Guide or GM online and ask. Unless they see something really outrageous, they will likely tell you what marks are on your record. Soulmarks do not contain a record of every petition filed unless your server had really anal guides/GMs. Soulmarks DID...

From what I read, it was an exploit in their javascript engine. Didn't do any more research in it than that.

You're right but as Firefox gains more popularity, the people who exploit bugs for financial gain have to adapt to defects in it simply because it is becoming more popular. Besides that, if an anti-MS hacker really wanted to screw with your MS OS, why would he discriminate against a non-MS browser w...

Off Topic: Firefox Users Beware ...

Got this in one of my tech security newsletters. Thought I'd share it since I know Firefox is popular ... especially here. ------------ Major security flaws just uncovered in the popular Firefox browser have its creators rushing to fill the gaps. The vulnerabilities are called "extremely critic...

I'm going to speak out my ass here for a minute ... Have you spoken with SOE about what characters are actually available for restore? Round about now (with the server merges going on), they are permanently purging inactive accounts (I think those that haven't been accessed in 4 months or are under ...

We need a nice ISX for SWG now too ... though you can already macro in SWG, there have been rumors of SOE nerfing the ability to call a macro from inside a macro ... and there is a serious lack of logic operators in the SWG macros.

Are you bored w/ SWG yet Ama?

There is a great place to learn about all those things ... and it was installed when you unzipped the MQ2 source ... it's called TFM ... So you should go read it.

AFK Macro'ing is bad ... mmmk?

Someone out there in MQ-land has decided to garner us more negative attention. To that end, they have been AFK hunter macro'ing highland lions in North Karana. While that might not be too bad by itself, they've decided that running is just too much effort and are instead warping directly to the lion...

If you know how to code, it wouldn't be too terribly hard ... you'd mainly need the proper eqgame.h and EQData.h (from your working version) and the rest of the source from the current version. Then you'd have to make sure that everything referenced in those files has what you need in the rest of th...
