Well, nice script but how about saying where you got the scripting (ie math) for the autopositioning...? http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1487&highlight= The auto-positioning was from a script I wrote and posted MONTHS ago. While I don't mind people using the script (reason it was p...

A long time ago I wrote some COM like objects for Macroquest when it was the only game in town. I had written two versions 1. One version was a memory sniffer that read loc of char and then sent that to Xylobot via UDP. Xylobot then attempted to turn the character to the right orientation or move th...

Hmmm.. had not thought was a new UI issue, but I recall having this problem a few months back too on the old UI.

One never knows. If anyone has had a thought in this arena, besides blaming the UI, or has other ideas would appreciate.

Spell Cast Availability

I want to be able to determine if a spell is being cast (either a called spell in a script or while the script is running and I manual a spell cast, or if I use an item to cast a spell). I want to be able to know if another action can be taken, but need to know if spell casting is underway BEFORE I ...

recursion is when you call a routine, nothing works, you fix it you thought and your computer crashes, and you curse again and again

Sorry for no answers for last couple of days. Been out of town for New Year's and only just recovered.. uuhr... back in town... Rass: I don't know why this is the case. I would check the spelling and all of the loot.mac macro exactly-- As I recall it had a different name. I have offloaded all that s...

Well, you don't NEED a healer to run this-- but as you can imagine it helps so as not to die hehe... Ok, so you are planning to use this is a group with people who are not MQ-ing where there is already a healer. So, the way to fix this is to change the script-- set the variables directly from hotbut...

Ice: Ok.. hmmm... Let's start easy with it. Start with the warrior. Assume the warrior is a pet and you are a healer of some sort and you want the warrior to go get stuff... pull it back, and kill it and you will MANUALLY heal the warrior (no cleric bot yet). To do this: 1. Take your warrior somewhe...

yar

Asta and Ariain are correct. Sorry I could not answer sooner. The code commented out above is that which I used to send them to two rooms from one place in the cellars of Vox' Dungeon (where the Polar Bears are... ). Once that room was manually cleared I had a Cleric bot variant that pulled the area...

Found it. Mine is modded extensively from this to be a little more responsive to the 63+ PoP zones and able to follow others around in a raid situation and defend oneself a bit from aggro (mainly in VT).

Spell slots: Supernal Remedy (or whatever mini-heal): 3 Complete Heal: 6 DA1: 4 DA2: 5 Bestow DA (AA skill): Bank 0, slot 2 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As to the loot.inc: Just delete that include line. I have removed from the posted script now. It was not needed. If you need it it is identic...

Asta, Yes, I made a special case for taking the monk from the "run-to if OOR" as that is one of the best ways to wipe out an entire raid if the monk in your group is one of the pull monks and you run at the monk during a pull! Probably not a concern for you if you are botting the monk as w...

Warrior-autogrp.mac Rogue-autogrp.mac Cleric-autogrp.mac

Here are the code snippets from three macros I have written and used over the last several months. I am leaving Everquest, so I thought I would post this code for others now. Perhaps most unique in the scripts is the Rogue backstab auto-positioning code and the Cleric using Yaulp 5 on a regular basi...
