If they didn't fix this issue with DO NOT USE: After patching, couldn't you just go into your UI folder and rename/move/delete the EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow and then just use the bypass patcher routine (rename the EQ shortcut to the \eqgame.exe" patchme) so it will not add it again? This way...

Thank you very much Night Hawk! Chil STFU! I've been on these boards well over a year now. I know to search before asking a question as not to get an asshole response such as I received. If I would have found it during a search, I wouldn't have post. edit 10/22 Sorry, I was having a bad day at work =(

Here's my very crude version of adding numbers next to the buff slots. I only did to buff slot 15. http://home.comcast.net/~macroquest/BuffWindow.gif Here's the BuffWindow.XML file. I would recommend that you backup your original BuffWindow.xml before installing this one in case you do not like it =)

Not certain if it will work the way you want it though, I'm gonna give it a shot when I get home from work. =) Here's some more places for information/programs to edit your xml files::: PLACE 1 PLA...

Is there a place where a "How-To" has been made to show you how to modify UI's? I am very familiar with the program "SidlWidl" and would love to learn how to mod (insert MQ2 code) my favorite UI's on my own and share. Of course, as long as it doesn't take months to mod 1 UI ........
